What can I do on the Free plan?
Publish unlimited text-only announcements, format your text and use the design controls, including separate desktop and mobile settings. Country targeting, destination links and advanced announcement features require Pro.
What does Pro include?
Everything in Free, plus country targeting, destination links, dynamic shipping progress, variables, countdowns, scheduling, discount-code copying, A/B testing and analytics. Pro is $4.99 USD per month, billed through Shopify.
Do I need to edit my theme code?
No. Announce Me uses a Shopify theme app embed. Enable it on your chosen theme, save, and control your messages from the app. Preview your storefront before making announcements visible.
Can desktop and mobile look different?
Yes. Messages can have different text, line breaks, formatting and spacing for desktop and mobile. You can sync them again when you want them to match.
What happens if the app server is temporarily unavailable?
An enabled embed can continue using its last successfully published Shopify-hosted snapshot without waiting for the Announce Me backend. New saves and analytics may be unavailable during an outage. This does not apply after uninstalling the app or disabling or removing the embed.
Does the shipping banner change my checkout rates?
No. It displays progress toward configured thresholds; it does not set checkout shipping rates, add gifts or guarantee eligibility. Check your messaging against your Shopify shipping rules and checkout.
